67 Pall Mall members tour Piedmont’s Langhe wine region
From Thursday 17th to Sunday 20th October, members of the 67 Pall Mall wine club will be on their way to enjoy an unforgettable few days exploring the stunning Langhe region of Piedmont, home to outstanding Nebbiolo wines. The three-night tour, led by Federico Moccia head sommelier at 67 Pall Mall and myself, will feature visits to top Barolo and Barbaresco.
The often fog-shrouded Piedmont is an epicurean nirvana, notable for its truffles, hazelnuts, meats and cheeses. Then there’s the wine… 67 Pall Mall Members we enter the realm of Nebbiolo. And when you think Nebbiolo you think Barolo and Barbaresco. And when you think of those you think Gaja, which will be just one stop on Members’ Piedmont adventure.
Residing in a jaw-dropping spot in the hills of the Langhe, Members will be making memories, formed by – amongst other special moments – lunches and tastings with preeminent creators of Barolo, Barbaresco and other iconic wines, a white truffle dinner within the walls of a magnificent 11th century castle, together with The Order of Knights of the Truffle and Wines of Alba, and the talents of a Michelin-starred chef. Accommodation will be at a scenic location with magnificent panoramas and during the four days of the tour, in addition to in-depth tours and tastings, presentations and demonstrations, the lucky participants will have the opportunity to explore the gorgeous countryside, lovely villages and striking castles of the beautiful Langhe area.
67 Pall Mall is the world’s first group of private Members’ Clubs founded by wine lovers, for wine lovers.
